Grandma’s Almond Cookies

Fragrant, gently spiced cookies that everyone loves – from little ones to grown‑ups.
Ingredients
- 100 g raw cane sugar
- 100 g butter
- 1 egg
- 200 g spelt flour
- 1 tsp tartar baking powder
- 1 pinch Ayurvedic magic salt®
- 100 g chopped almonds
- 10 g Granny’s Cake Organic Spice Blend
Preparation
- Using a hand mixer, beat the butter, raw cane sugar and egg together until the mixture is light and fluffy.
- Add the Ayurvedic magic salt®, Granny’s Cake Organic Spice Blend, chopped almonds and spelt flour. Mix thoroughly with the hand mixer until a smooth dough forms.
- Place spoonfuls (about 1 tablespoon each) of dough onto a baking tray and gently flatten them.
- Bake in an oven at 160 °C for about 20 minutes. Then remove and leave to cool completely.
